After several months he gave one of the first interviews (maybe the absolute first) of his life -- the journalist of the local newspaper “as Pic”, Natalya Nikiforova. Putin told how he had ended up in the KGB, how he had left it, and why he had not repented.
He also talked about private life.
Vladimir Putin, in this interview, indicated that he lived in a 54 square feet [54 sq m] residence with his wife and children, and his parents, broadcast Periscope.
