Final preparations are under way for the first car to travel faster than 1,000km per hour. Team Bloodhold SSC hopes it will create a new story by bringing in the largest speed vehicle ever seen.
They think it'll cover a mile in less than 3.6 seconds. This car is being built with jet engines, which is similar to the aircraft engine that generates more than 135 thousand horsepower.
The car will be 13.4m long and will be six times more powerful than all the vehicles competing in Formula 1.
The first tests will take place on 26 October at Cornwall Airport near Newquay.
