From Sunday midnight these buses have remained blocked few metres from the border checkpoint in Merdare, in Serbia's part.
Although there is still nothing official, drivers of these blocked buses say Serbian police have orally told them that they have received orders from Serbian authorities to block any bus from Kosovo or that is headed for Kosovo as a reciprocity measure against the Kosovo side's decision to stop the course of the Pristina-Belgrade line, KTV reports.
Ismajl Muriqi, the bus driver, has asked the country's institutions to take any measures, as because of this blockade, they must stay on Serbian territory, guarding buses.
Kohavision has contacted up-to-date Minister for Dialogue Edita Tahiri, but the same has declined to speak anything about the situation created, addressing responsibility to Kosovo Police officials, but that even the latter have said not to be responsible for such a problem.
At the Ministry of Infrastructure, which is authorised to provide international circulation permits, they have said they are dealing with the issue, but an answer to the blockade will be given the following days.
