At the conference held today at the Ministry of Infrastructure, newly appointed Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has been nervous when asked about the demarcation issue.
Reporter Kaltrine Zymberi from Online Economy has asked the prime minister for the U.S.A.'s statement that they will not support other demarcation agreements, except what was signed in 20015.
The American “have claimed that they no longer have a new demarcation agreement, what the new border demarcation commission” has to do with the Zymberi journalist's question.
But this has made Prime Minister Haradinaj nervous, insulting him that you [journalists] most of you can't read English, nor do you know what they said, the problem is yours, I don't have any comment”.
Prime Minister Haradinaj went further with insults, saying that “you are reporting without days, believe, go to school more, see what they're saying. I've read the American statement and what you're saying isn't exactly”, Haradinaj stated.
The United States of America has stated they do not support new agreements on the demarcation issue.
The United States supports the agreement reached for demarcation of the border between Kosovo and Montenegro governments in 2015, with which neither states lose territory. We expect this issue to be resolved quickly by maintaining constructive and very positive relations between the two countries, said the US Embassy's response.
