The US today introduced 11 Iranian individuals and companies to support the Iranian Revolutionary Guard or to participate in a cyberattack against American banks, the US Finance Ministry announced.
This happened on the same day that the White House was expected to announce extensions of sanctions eased in line with the 2015 agreement on the Iranian nuclear programme, approved by former US president Barack Obama's administration.
