Edward Llesti 34, and Katarzyna Koq, 36-year-olds have been sentenced to six years in prison, writes the eye.net.
The route they followed was through trucks coming from Chechya and Belgium, for which they received 6,000 pounds.
Detective Trevor Davidson said: “Lleshi and Koqe organised illegal immigration in the country for their financial gain.
Even though they may have been the people physically bringing immigrants to Great Britain, they were the heads of this complex operation and therefore were directly responsible for many people who were illegally trafficked to the country.
“We will take a hard line against organised criminals who seek to exploit others and am satisfied with the long-term prison sentences that have been distributed in support of this. ”
