Hollywood actor discovers Albanian roots (Photo)

This is the subject of the film “Black Paraces”, a movie that has brought to Albania the known Hollywood actor and co-ordinator, Randall Paul, who seems to have early roots in Albania.

You know what? It's funny. My grandfather was Bulgarian, and his brother married an Albanian. So I have an Albanian uncle, Bertin. When you live outside Albania you have no idea what it is like. When he comes and visits him, his whole perspective changes. Food is great. People are very nice and kind”, says Paul.

Enthraled by director Sokol Martin Pepkolaj, with whom they have been introduced in a shooting set at an Italian production, Paul decided to start shooting in Tirana these days.

We have mutual friends in the cinematography industry. One day we were talking about the script of this movie. I liked it, and that's how we got together. The important thing at the point where we are is to review the scenario. We are filming the trailer in Albania and then in a package we need to introduce production to investors to support us. Professionals become more impressive together. This is the most important thing for now”, Paul says.

“Filmi refers to a true story, to terrorism behind religion, to a very dangerous phenomenon, which and why the whole world fears no one fights”, Albanian director Pepkolaj says on the other hand. /tch/
