The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has proposed to the Government the dismissal of the State Commission for Demarkation, and has also appointed Kosovo's renowned expert, Professor Speed Bulqi, to create the team to assume the responsibilities for establishing the State Commission for Demarketation.
Haradinaj has been the biggest disputer of border demarcation with Montenegro under the line defined by the state commission, headed by Murat Meha.
He has promised revision of the demarcation process with the neighbouring country.
The demarcation line set by the Government Commission had staunchly opposed the former LDK delegation, Speed Bulqi, whom Prime Minister Haradinaj has today charged with forming the State Commission for Demarcation.
This stance had cost Bulqi with his failure to enter the candidate list for MPs for the June 11th parliamentary elections.
In the face of opposition and civic pressure, the government led by Isa Mustafa had been forced to withdraw it on September 1st 2016 from the Kosovo Parliament's agenda ratification of the Demarket Agreement.
