A left-wing politician in Sweden has said he was raped under the threat of a knife by a man who had called him “an altarman”.
Patrick Liljeglod, leader of the Left Party group in the town of Falun, has described the event on Facebook and also at a local council meeting, despite his initial refusal to share it with anyone.
He said he felt he could speak as the attack was politically motivated and was also an attack affecting democracy.
