At the Constitutional Court in Pristina on Wednesday, court hearings are expected in the case of four MPs accused of dropping tear gas on the Kosovo Assembly, Albin Kurti, Albulen Hadziu, Faton Topalli and Donika Kadaj-Bujupi.
Kurti, Haxhiu, Topalli and Cadaj-Bujupi are tasked with criminal acts, “the use of weapons or dangerous tool” and “obstructing the official person during the performance of the official task”.
The news of “Justice Vow” made it known, the legal secretary at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Mybera Latifi.
Secretary Latifi said Wednesday's hearing was scheduled to be held by 9:00.
At the initial session to be held on April 21st of this year, the case's judge, Bekir Kaluldra, had warned that he would issue arrest warrants against Albin Kurti, as he had failed to present at the session.
However, Kurti's arrest warrant was suspended shortly before the 11 June 2017 parliamentary elections, by Judge Kaluldra himself who had issued the warrant.
Also at the April 21st session, Judge Kaluldra iu had pronounced fines of 200 euros -- witnesses who were not present in court, nor had they justified their absence.
Eventually, the fine was pronounced against Naser Osman, Armend Zemaj, Bekim Hadziu, Xhavit Halit, Kadri Veselin, Hope Gosalci and Leonora Halimaj.
Otherwise, the indictment against the four deputies of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly has been established by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina on 16 December 2015.
