The German automaker Volkswagen will encourage a total of ten thousand euros for all who wish to replace their old cars.
The German giant's decision comes at the moment Germany is engaged to reduce the emissions of harmful gases after the fraud scandal.
In the VW company, buyers will be offered discounts for automobiles, which meet the new Euro 6 billion-euro standard for compact automobiles of up to ten thousand euros for the Touareg jeep.
Automobile producer has proposed additional release of between 1,000 and 2,380 euros to all purchasers of electric vehicles. The cash offer will be valid by the end of 2017, a VW official said.
According to this official, the company is also considering expanding this plan outside Germany to cover Europe.
The German company's proposal comes after the government's and industry summit last week for resolving the high level of gas generated by diesel vehicles.
