Kosovo's ambassador to Washington, Vlora Citaku, has announced that the institution she leads is being taken care to communicate with Albanians in Houston, Texas. Citaku has announced that in addition to material damage, Albanians are out of danger for life.

With concern we are following the consequences of the storm and floods on #Huston. Hundreds of Albanian families live in and around the affected areas. I've communicated with some of them, and I've been informed that, apart from material damage, everyone is safe and safe. The Kosovo Embassy and Consulate in New York are at your disposal.
