Scientists from the Amen Clinic in Newport Beach, California, have observed some 46,000 brain studies in the hope that they will have better meaning in how neurologic disorders affect the two genders.
For example, while males have greater risk of being diagnosed with ADHD, women are more likely to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's, depression, and anxiety disorders.
According to scientists, this is because women have more brain activity in the prefrontal framework region which has to do with decision-making, concentration and impulsive control.
