After the next 16 weeks, “Despacito” is now officially linked to “One Sweet Day” of Mariah and Boyz II Men for the longest record in the Billboard Hot 100 competition, reports Billboard.
Mariah initially held the record between 1995 and 1996, for more than two decades.
Along with Hot 100 data, “Despacito” recently became the most watched music video of all time on YouTube. So far, the clip has over 3.4 billion views.
