The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency also reported illegal drug trafficking in Albania.
The American CIA on its official page “The World Focusbook” writes that our country always remains an active point of illegal drug crossing as cannabis sativa from southwestern Asia towards the Balkans.
Similarly, according to the CIA, to a smaller measure from Albania, cocaine is illegally passed by from South America with Western Europe's destination. US Central Intelligence Agency data reports that there is an increase in cannabis production in the country, as well as an expansion of Albanian trafficking organisations in Europe.
The CIA classified Albania as also a country where money laundering is easily conducted linked to regional trafficking of narcotics, weapons, smuggling and illegal passage of foreign citizens.
The latest update of US Central Intelligence Agency data was made early in August of this year. /Syri.net
