The next step will take place within a 15-day deadline, when the language use bill will be submitted for approval to Macedonia's Assembly, KTV reports.
The law, which envisions that official language in addition to Macedonian is also the language spoken by 20 percent of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, has welcomed Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
While, Alliance for Albanians Minister of Health Arben Taravari has said that with this decision they are fulfilling their promise of the Albanian “ <x0-language” within the first 100-day government.
However, according to him, this law represents only “avancing the Albanian”, as constitutional changes are needed for the Macedonian language, for which at least 81 votes are needed, which the LSDM and Albanian parties in the assembly do not have.
Taravari has said that, under current circumstances, with VMRO unconstructive in opposition, constitutional changes are impossible.
To avoid submitting the law to the Constitutional Court, which according to Taravari, is controlled by VMRO, 3 provisions of this law will be sent to the Venice Commission.
While Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani has said they are on the verge of closing one of the most important issues of the Ohrid Agreement.
Also, Albanian use in institutions is the condition of the EU for Macedonia on its integration path.
And the government's decision in Skopje has gone unanswered by institutional and party leaders in Kosovo and Albania.
