Macedonia's integration into NATO means not only security, but also the country's economic development, as well as quality lives for citizens, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said at today's meeting with the director for the Western Balkans at the Ministry of the United Kingdom Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, Fiona Mcilweham.

Zaevi also stressed that the Government is oriented towards efficient and qualitative implementation of reforms through the 3-6-9 Plan that, according to him, will open up prospects for citizens and the state, sends out Telegrafi Macedonia.

A third of the reforms ahead in the first three months have already been realised. Much of them are related to political will, while the Government is designed to ensure it. That's why we're committed to the escape process. Our goal is to build independent institutions and rule of law through professional trial. We build good relations with neighbours, such as the next agreement we will sign with Bulgaria for friendship, good neighbourly relations and co-operation. Hopefully, with all of this we will move in a fast and good direction”, Zaev stressed.

Fiona Mcilwem confirmed support from Great Britain for Macedonia's Reforming Government and for the strategic interests of the state for NATO and EU membership.

The meeting also found that the international community, with a trend towards positive changes in Macedonia, will have results, as noted, even the citizens of Macedonia and the state in Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Zaev and the British high representative also discussed the possibility of intensifying co-operation between Macedonia and Great Britain. Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani attended the meeting in Government, as did British Ambassador to the country Charles Gareth.
