Villagers gathered in the village of Jaitpur in the central Indian state of Greatya Pradesh on Wednesday, when they saw the reptile swallowing the big goat. The serpent had entered the village from a nearby forest before attacking its prey.
A team of forest guards and an expert tried to save the goat, but when it was removed from the animal body, it had already died.
It was then launched in the woods.
