Argentinian coach Diego Simeone, after giving Albanian football the opportunity to debut with the first team of Atleticos, seeks to monitor it closely for the new season, and for that reason he has chosen to take it with him to the preparation phase that Atletico will develop for the new season.
According to the list published in Spain, Atletico will begin preparations Thursday morning with 20 players who will be put under Simeon's orders. Among them is the name of Barrett, who has been selected to show that he deserves more a team seat than the footballers who have returned from borrowing or other academic players.
In a season where Atletico Madrid cannot make purchases during the summer, new footballers are expected to be given more space. So the beginning of the preparation phase with the first team can help Baren eventually become part of the Athleticos group in the following season.
