Samsung had an impressive first quarter of 2017, and the company was launched in an even better quarter with more than 20% growth in sales and operational profit.
The company announced revenue for Q2 2017, where sales are estimated to be about 60 billion KRW, or about $52 billion.
According to the press release, Samsung is also expected to have a record operational profit. The number stood at 9.9 billion KRW for January-March, and rose to 14 trillion KRW or about 12.2 billion dollars in Q2.
The numbers are certainly good news for Samsung. Q2 2017 will be the most successful quarter of the company ever, crossing Q4 2016 and Q1 2017, the current most profitable periods.
By comparison, the last Christmas sale was about 530,000 trillion KRW, or about 46 billion dollars.
Revenue guidance comes after record sales of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +. Now the Galaxy Notte Fan Edition launched, but the sales will be accounted for the next fiscal quarter.
