Rugova: LDK to decide very soon for its location

LDK elected MP Naser Rugova has said the LDK has not yet decided as regards possible coalitions, but such a thing is expected to happen very soon.

Rugova in a statement issued to Blic newspaper, said this party is awaiting official election certificates, and will then decide on the LDK's deployment.

“We as the new parliamentary group and as part of the coalition, have had a meeting with the LDK chairman, and are expecting results of the official certificate of election results, we are still not sitting down with party structures to discuss possible coalitions”, Rugova said.

Rugova added what decision the Democratic League of Kosovo makes, he will agree with that decision.

“I will respect the decision that will take the LDK's elected structures, the party's making decisions, in line with LDK parliamentary group”, he said.

Otherwise Rugova clarified that other statements the LDK has made about any coalition with any party are not true.

At the moment, all other statements are media speculations, because it has not yet been discussed in party bodies for any possible coalition or location of LDK” Rugova concluded.

Otherwise, according to preliminary results, the election winner is the coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the party Initiative.

Followed by the Vetevendosje Movement, the third is the Democratic League of Kosovo coalition, the New Kosovo Alliance and the Alternative.
