Have you ever been to Albania? Have you witnessed this place? Have you spoken directly to Albanians? Have you tried their food? Did you sleep in their homes? Have you played with their children? If the answer is no, I'll tell you a few things.
You can't speak English, because everyone speaks Italian, and even the youngest, who already know English, will be forced to speak Italian to feel at home.
You shouldn't be surprised by their kindness, for they are.
You can't refuse when they offer you help, a hand, or just a coffee... they'd feel bad about us in Italy, especially in the South.
You shouldn't trust newspapers. You have to admit that all the things you've read, heard or thought about Albania from the 1990s to today are bullshit or out of context.
You cannot stay on a diet, eat very well, and serve your newly made bread at home only to be thrilled with the aroma and especially the flavor. To avoid talking about pie, was I touched?
You have no idea what fate is to travel to a country that still has such faith and is so natural to another. This is where the tourist is really welcome.
You can't even get excited when you eat yogurt, salads, pies, beef, beef and goats with contractorno and all for 4/5 Euros. Including drinks. It's probably about the prices of small hotels and establishments in remote tourist villages.
Can't you see how you can get that much, with so little money - the service level is definitely too high!
You can't shut up, you have to tell everyone that Albania is a wonderful country.
You can't stop getting nervous... Thinking about how much reality is distorted, and you want to say again: Albania is one of the most solar and fascinating countries in Europe. Warm, able to welcome you and, above all, give you the feeling of being home! You don't find this anywhere.
There's nothing you can do, you're in Albania... And falling in love with this place is simple!
