This hole, which is near the camera's eye in Apple iPhone, is really one of three small microphones that allows sound from any location, reports Tech Insiver, broadcast Indescline.
The purpose of these little microphones is actually to identify and remove background noise during phone conversations or recording their voice.
They also help Siri to recognize the voice. Two other microphones are located on the bottom of the iPhone.
The microphone, which is seen in the lower part except for receiving voice during calls, is also responsible for receiving audio recordings.
