When it was launched in 2010, it was named “the future of research” and the company described it as “Search before writing”.
Google had said that the greatest benefit users would gain from this feature would be “the curing of”.
Instant showed the results of anticipated search terms before pressing the Enter button or finishing the written word.
Suggestions will continue to appear under the search space as long as you write, but now you have to choose one of them or complete the entire search for results.
