After forcing users to use a separate app to communicate, the social network Facebook showed that ads will soon appear on the Messinger app.

On Tuesday, the social network confirmed advertising tests on the Messinger app, which will appear for all users worldwide, namely 1.2 billion active users.

The ads will appear on the main interface of the app said Facebook. Those who click advertising will either be sent to the advertisers' website or open a communication window with the brand.

The latter is not new because businesses can communicate with their users as well as send ads. 85% of social network income comes from mobile platforms.

What remains to be seen is the response of users to advertising in Messenger. Though they may drop specific ads, they can never be blocked.

While browser advertising designers are not missing, applications like Facebook and Twitter have remained isolated from the trend.
