Chief Democrat Basha's challenger in running the DP expresses the conviction that he will win the race and will be the one to drive the Democrats to victory.

In a post on his FB page, Salaam writes that there is already a plan after victory.

When I win, I'll start from open analysis. Albanians decide which party to win and who's going to the service. I'm going to start from the simplest section in the 69 PD branches and the tens and hundreds of sections it has. I've landed on the water” he writes.

DP leader candidate: Bierisha's offer rejected

The race candidate for the DP, former President Edward Peace, has indicated that four years ago Lulzim Basha has proposed the post of deputy party chairman, but he has refused.

Invited to the “Capitol” show in Vizion Plus, Peace points out that Basha's model has failed and is already outdated.

This is not an attack on Basha. Base's model failed. It's just mad and old-fashioned. In politics and in society it brings down everyone else.

Basha put his leadership in an old-fashioned model. But it doesn't mean Basha doesn't matter in PD.

I refused Basha for the post of deputy party four years ago. I don't accept any post appointed by the mayor, without the vote of the structures by the covert vote”, said "Peace."

The presidential candidate in the DP, says Sali Berisha has already expressed his preference in favour of Basha, even though at the meeting he had with him, he had promised neutrality.

I think he expressed preference for Mr. Basha, but it was perfectly normal. From his statements, I understand. At the meeting he told me he'd keep your neutrality. I've told him that he has the right to support what he thinks is closer to what he thinks. I will support Basha and if I win. I'll structure everything, but there won't be my decisions without the approval of the national council. This is what hasn't been seen in Albania yet.
