Apple has patented a process that allows users to secretly call the emergency number, only with fingerprints.
In a driver's license published by United States Patent and Trade Office on Tuesday, the technology giant outlined a innovation that would enable emergency service users “when a conventional” approach is not practical.
This service can also be called through the screen locked in the OS devices. This enables users to seek help if they see an aggressor or in cases of attacks, says the patent.
The company suggests fingerprint sequence technology or pressure exercise to call emergency numbers.
Youth, which can be programmed to bypass passwords or display identification, can also alert authorities of the person's whereabouts, and automatically record videos or audio from its iPhone.
The passport adds that technology can erase or hide some personal data that you would not like to share with others, such as the social security number or home address.
