The population's natural extension for the first quarter 2017 reflects a 33.6 %, compared to the first quarter of 2016.
During this period the number of births exceeded by 862, INSTAT reported today.
In the first quarter 2017, the population's natural extensions for Albania's 12 count counties in Tirana County, where the number of births exceeds 639.
In the Elbasan, Durres, Debar, Lezha and Fier natural additions circles is positive.
The lowest value is recorded in the Korca District, where the death toll exceeds 160.
The number of births for the first quarter 2017 results in 6,880 marking a 4.0 %, compared to the first quarter 2016.
The lowest birth rate is recorded in Gjirokastra County, 138 births, with a drop of 10.4 %, compared to the first quarter 2016.
The largest number of births are registered in Tirana's district at 2,087 births, which mark growth of 1.5 %, compared to the first quarter 2016. Tirana's district and Vlora's district are the only districts that suffered growth in the number of births in the first quarter 2017, compared to the first quarter 2016, even though this growth results in very small.
The largest decline in birth rates during this period was presented by the suburb of Berat with 14.3 %.
The number of deaths for the first quarter 2017 results in 6.031, marking an increase of 2.6 %, compared to the first quarter 2016.
The largest death toll is recorded in Tirana district at 1,448 deaths, marking an increase of 6.3 %, compared to the first quarter 2016.
