Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has declared today that the position of the Health Ministry belongs to the party he heads, not the Alliance for Albanians.
After the end of the trial hearing in the <x0/Reyshfeit” case, Zaev, questioned by reporters on the health ministry issue, has said the Alliance for Albanians has only two deputies and that by the time the Government was formed, this post is given them because of the well-known doctor, Mr. Arben Taravari.
“We offered the post of deputy prime minister for reform, considering that it is really the new party that wants to be witnessed, leading serious institutions, over 20 at the central level alone. We believed that this could be acceptable to them. On the other hand, all ministers are busy on November 1st, after the local elections ended. By then, there were more than 70-80% obstacles to conducting specific activities, and it is simply not possible to change any of the ministers. Mr. Arben Taravari neither informed us nor consulted, nor Zijadin Sela. We heard from the media about his decision to run for mayor. And actually at some point I personally hoped not to be elected to continue as minister of health. But the will of citizens is not touched. So these are decisions. I hope their decision to remain in Government implies the admission of Deputy Prime Minister for Reform”, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said.
