Full response:
Kosovo regime crimes committed behind the public in favour of Wessel
Today it is being held in secret the upcoming political court hearing that the authoritarian regime in Kosovo is developing against the four deputies of the V Movement. EAST: Albin Kurti, Albulen Haxhiu, Donika Kadaj and Faton Topalli.
Today, it would be necessary for Kadri Veseli to testify, but the prosecutor has withdrawn his testimony. Even when MPs Albin Kurti and Albulen Haxhiu sought clarification of the decision for Wessel, the judge expelled the two from the hearings. This judge expelled Adem Miulovci, Sami Kurteshi, Ishmael Kurteshi, Jelal Svechla from the public.
We recall that the four MPs were placed in the dock of the accused only because they had the courage to defend the sovereignty of the Republic and the territorial integrity of the country, opposing “Zajednica” and the agreement for “Demarkation”. The Constitutional Court and the new state commission for “Demarkation” have institutionally testified that these two agreements violate the country's sovereignty and territory. That fact would suffice today, at the dock of the accused, to be the ones who signed the two agreements and not the MPs who opposed them. But instead of punishing the violators, through the capture of the judicial system, the regime is trying to condemn the very ones who protected the people and the country against the criminal acts of the regime themselves, and there are other crimes the regime is trying to commit behind the public.
At the first court hearing against the four deputies of the Movement, direct television broadcasting was allowed, and all public opinion understood the low professional level and pure political motives that were pushing Judge Kalundra to advance this extremely political process. We remember that this is the same judge who condemned without proof or evidence, with a completely mounted charge, including the 4 activists of the Frasher Krasniqi Movement, Father and Arifi, Adea Batusha and Egzon Haliti. At today's court hearing, Kaluldra quickly halted the media's possibility to reflect this process for the general public. Since the regime has lost all the arguments, today it tries to protect itself through censorship ʹ the preferred tool of any authoritarian regime.
This judicial process, already censored, is in the same line as the way agreements were signed for “Zieednica” and “Demarkation” in August 2015. Even at the time, the regime did not advance these two agreements to the Assembly, as it was legally obliged to act, and it showed no transparency to the public until these two state-decision agreements were signed. Today, again in secrecy, the regime is trying to cover the crime of these two agreements with another crime: the political process of justice against the ruling deputies. Again today, through censorship, the regime is operating in secret, away from public eyes.
Movement V EVENTION! condemns the censorship of Judge Kaluldra and the authoritarian regime in Kosovo, and insists on transparency and justice for all representatives of the people today who are wrongly located in the dock of the accused.
