At the inaugural session, Vetevendosje asganists swore allegiance to the national flag. Six of them boycotted the state anthem. Even in this legislature, the Kosovo government will have its representatives at the capital assembly.
With the analysis of the state and national anthem, the inaugural meeting of the Pristina Municipal Assembly has started.
The session was led by the oldest member, Shefki Gashi of the Democratic League.
He has read the oath in the name of 51 asambitists.
After them, even re-elected mayor Shpend Ahmeti has given the oath.
In the inaugural speech, Ahmeti said the mayor's door would be open to all Asambliss and citizens, without party differences.
Without launching the hearings, 17 national flags were placed near as many seats belonging to the asmblastists of the Vetevendosje Movement.
And although the hearing began with the intonation of two anthems, 6 of this party's atomicists entered the hall only after the end of Kosovo's state anthem.
For this party's second most voted assist, Nol Niushi, the move was deliberate and does not present innovation.
He insists they have no problem with state institutions and the republic, but only with anthem and flag, which he calls imposed.
In the past legislature, even this time, there will be members of the central government in the capital assembly.
Health Minister Ismajli Bridge and Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Management Vesel Makolli, besides the centre, will also be part of local government.
