“No permission has been issued to sell heavy weapons despite the request submitted by the Ukrainian government”, writes the US daily “The Washington Post”.
This decision is supported by leading figures of National Security and Congress, but it can affect the compromise of Trump-Putin relations.
Three years ago, the US Congress approved the sale of weapons under Ukraine's Freedom Act, but the administration of former President Obama never implemented that decision.
