The Supreme Court has reacted to the claims of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), which has accused the institution of political influence.
Great, according to the Supreme Court, The PDK has included the judge of this institution, including his family, and thus affecting his privacy.
The Supreme Court's full response:
For the sake of truth, the Supreme Court explains the public opinion that claims published in the media, dated 05.12.2017 of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), according to which the Supreme Court is politically influenced, are completely false.
The Supreme Court Judge Erdogan Hadzibeqiri and his family are also referred to in these claims, thus undermining the privacy of the judge and his family in an effort to influence the rulings of the Supreme Court.
Explaining the public opinion that Judge Erdogan Hadzibeqi has not been part of the judicial college at all, when it is decided on the complaint of political subject Vetevendosje, to the Election Panel's decision on Ances and Parashtre (PZAP), to recount the votes in Prizren.
We also explain the public opinion that the Supreme Court will not succumb to any threats or direct or indirect blackmail by any political subject, group or individual.
All judicial decisions are taken in three-member colleges, in full compliance with the law, professionally and with high responsibility.
So we make public calls to stop such verbal attacks and to respect the independence of judges and justice bodies.
