KFOR plays important role for security, stability in Kosovo, mission NATO means that any troop reduction would be based on existing situation on the ground, the leader said NATO is responding to journalists' questions about statements by several officials in Pristina that KFOR's presence is an obstacle to the formation of the Kosovo Army, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcasts.
“We will follow this, and this is not on the agenda now, we are constantly monitoring the situation on the ground, so the emphasis now is on the need for KFOR to continue to be in Kosovo”, the secretary said. NATO, at a press conference prior to the NATO's diplomatic chiefs' meeting.
