After the bail and postal vote count in Istog the score was overturned and Gani Dreselj came out. But, following LDK complaints of vote manipulation, the Supreme Court ruled that this city go to revote. The third round of elections will take place between LDK candidate Hakki Rugova and AAK's Gani Dresaj. Both candidates have sought to preserve votes, have no manipulations, as well as both believe in victory.

Istog's current chairman, Haki Rugova, has confirmed that he will continue the election campaign for Istog, because, as he says, this town does not eat the shopping with manipulated votes. He believes he will win another mandate, while warning of lawsuits against the Gani Dresaj counterCandidate.

In a conversation for Gazeta Express, Rugova says the CEC should verify the list of people who voted by mail so that citizens' votes are not misused. He considers the third round of elections to be injustice to citizens who are not to blame.

Meanwhile, AAK's candidate for Istog chairman, Gani Dresey, has called on the Istogas to get as many to the polls as possible, since, according to him, 4 minutes to vote for the governance of the next four years.

I'm convinced in convincing victory because in Istog the need for change is huge. I call on all the bodies for the proper functioning of the elections because it doesn't repeat the power halt, blackmail against voters and theft of votes”, Dressaj told Indexline.

The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo for chairman of Istogu Haki Rugova says the election campaign for this city will continue and that all promises given will be realised. He orders that Istog does not buy the market to win the election by manipulated votes, while opening up suspicions that manipulations are also organised in interstate circles.

“manipulated issues, such as the figure, where a fully manipulated candidate with votes tries to win elections, Istog does not eat that deal. It's not only organized here, it's organized into higher circles, maybe even interstates. Let's see now, such a subject is in the state prosecutor and prosecutors have to deal with these cases, and they have to deal with all the slanders that have occurred in all periods of time since the launch of the” campaign, Rugova says.

The LDK candidate has even warned of charges against his counterCandidate, Gani Dresaj, from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo for disinformation and slander against him.

I will anyway exercise both private and family lawsuits, against Gani Drezaj and others who spread dezinforms and slander and come out on the ground and manipulate people in the worst and worst forms”, Rugova told Express.

Asked whether he targets votes by mail, Rugova said the CEC should verify the list so that it is not manipulated by the votes of people who are also dead.

Rugova said that even if more elections are repeated, the winner will still come out.

Not only this round, but let's repeat it, we have party organisation and we expect victory”, Rugova said.

While going to revote calls it unfair, she believes that on December 17th she will be victorious.

The November 22nd and November 19th elections have mostly voted for change. Despite the injustices in this process and decisions that have been scandalous to me since our clear victory in the runoff has been denied, we will confirm victory in the revote of December 17th”, Dresaj has said.

In the first round of elections to be held on 22 October, Hakki Rugova won 45.36% of the vote, while Gani Dresaj was listed as the second most voted candidate by 35.63%. This result led them to the November 19th runoff, where Rugova won 51.88% of the vote, while Dresaj 48.12%, but the result was overturned during the vote count by mail and conditional, providing the AAK candidate with the victory, Gani Drashaj.

PZAP has decided that the Istog Community will go to revote on December 17th after complaints filed in this institution by the Democratic League of Kosovo
