The Kosovo Institute for Justice has reacted to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's decision to raise 100 per cent of salaries in the government cabinet.
“The decision adopted by the Haradinaj Government, in addition to having been made contrary to the applicable law, has been made without adequate legal analysis and without assessment or consultation concerning the financial impact this decision includes in itself for the executive government budget and judicial power”, the Institute's response said.
Furthermore, the IKD has recommended that the government urgently cancel the illegal decision to raise salaries, as well as to draft the law on the salaries of senior state officials. /Periscopi
