Russia's Foreign Ministry had asked Kosovo that its competitors, Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova, not represent Kosovo with state symbols but with the IJF flag.
Meanwhile, today, Judo coach Driton Kuka has confirmed in his Facebook account that Kosovo will participate in this Masters, presenting itself equally to other states.

Kosovo participates in Masters in Russia.
This morning in a phone call between our friend IJF Chairman Marius Vizer and FJK Chairman Agron Kuka were confirmed our participation in The best of the best in St. Petersburg!
