Meeting Thaci with Nundman Rama, talking about transforming KSF

Following US Deputy Defence Secretary Laura Cooper's successful visit, as well as Minister of State for the Armed Forces of Great Britain Mark Lancaster, with whom President Thaci spoke days ago about the Kosovo Security Force, he was informed today by Lieutenant General Rama for the recent progress on transforming the Security Force into the Kosovo Armed Forces.
President Thaci praised the Kosovo Security Force as an example of multiethnic representation.
“The KSF has managed to become a professional force, with NATO standards, which is an example of gender and ethnic representation. Its transformation into the Kosovo Armed Forces is to the benefit of citizens of all communities and, above all, to the benefit of our joint state”, said President Thaci.
While Lieutenant General Nundman Rama stressed that the Security Force is prepared and ready to take additional responsibilities.
At the meeting of President Thaci with KSF Commander Mark Lancaster, who had expressed their commitment to creating a stable platform, stressing that the key to success in transforming the Security Force into the Armed Forces is co-operation and partnership with NATO.
