Would you still be a professional footballer if you took 40,000 Swiss francs a month?
I can't answer the hypothetical questions. But I can say I play soccer because I love this sport and not to get rich by it. That's for sure.
When Renato Staffe leaves Basil, will you?
No. Of course I'll be upset those days that I won't have Renato on the team, but every professional player has his way.
When did the Albanian National Invite you to choose?
Just a second. I didn't hesitate because this was my dream and I was so happy to play for Albania.
Do you stand too far in front of the mirror?
Yeah. I'm one of those players that, besides training with the team, I like to gym and work for the body. I spend enough time in this regard.
What about politics in Switzerland?
There are many other things I'm interested in. I don't like politics at all.
Are you jealous of your brother Graniti's career?
I can never be jealous. I'm very happy and proud of what he did in his career. I always want to look at it higher and hope it gets bigger as a player.
What do you spend more money on?
There are many things I spend money on. For example, for expensive cars, clothes and accessors. I don't spend much on vacation, or on food.
What would you do if you weren't a soccer player?
If I wasn't a football player, I'd rather be out of the football world. Even outside the sport. I'd like to work in the office.
What do you like to do when you have no training?
I like going to dinner with my girlfriend. Of course I can play Play Station, or ski, but spending time with my girlfriend is better.
What is your greatest sin?
Perhaps the fact that as a child, they ate a lot of candy.
What about your childhood hero?
Superman.
Which team are you rooting for?
The reality of Madrid.
Your favorite food?
Pizza.
Who would you choose between winning a duel and a marked goal?
Since I'm midfield and I have little chance to score goals, I would have chosen a goal. To win the duels, I think of myself.
Basil or Pristina?
Basil, because I was born and grew up there.
A tattoo or a drink?
The tattoo, because I have some.
Albanian Rap or German hippie?
I like them both and I hear them a lot.
Champions in the post-group or World phase with Albania?
Both of them. Qualifying to the stage beyond the teams in the Champions League is something good for me. But even qualifying with Albania in a world is something extraordinary... it will be.
