Lekaj: Pristina highway- Skopje ends in this period

Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, accompanied by two deputy ministers, Rexhep Kadriu and Idriz Selimaj, inspected the works that are continuing in construction of the „Arber Xhaferi“, namely, between Pristina and Skopje.

During this visit, Minister Lekay saw the work being accomplished on this highway, the Indexline is broadcast.

Regarding the works they are performing, the minister announced the director of the project, of the company “Bechtel & Enka”, Riyadh Alkhazari.

After his visit to the entire Highway, Minister Lekaj said:“in his media proposal: We today visited the main highway and it is a national project. I can say that the Government of Kosovo is committed, for this project to be completed on December 31st 2018.

At the end of this month, the second half segment of this highway, which is from the village of Babush to the village of Bibaij, will be completed. I thanked the company „Bechtel& Enka“, and especially the director who was really committed to discussing what we discussed two months ago, would end this segment and create an easier access to citizens.

Right now we're on the longest bridge in the region, 5'7 kilometers long. We're committed to facing any challenge and being supportive even with budget lines, not having any extensions as if it has happened so far“.

While company project director „Bechtel & Enka“, Alkhazari stressed: “E thanked Minister Lekaj for today's visit to the project. It's an honor for us to have the minister see the work done.
