Albin Kurti has announced his candidacy for chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement.
He did this from the Lipjan Pre-burger. In his letter to television, he authorized MPs Albulen Hadziu and Victory Pacolli to collect the signatures in his name.
This, Kurt said, because he is currently unjustly in prison.
Currently, members of Vetevendosje have begun collecting these signatures, which should then be verified, have confirmed officials of this party.
Kurti's statement has been adopted by the General Election Commission, its leader, Adnan Rrustemi, has confirmed. He has added that there are still no other candidates for the position of Vetevendosje chairman.
Already against Albin Kurti's candidacy has emerged the former organisational secretary and most voted MP after Kurti, Dardan Moliqaj.
