Since the complaint made by Kosovo police until now has been more than a year, but today, the last 18 persons who have been in international search by Serbia for war crimes or crimes against civilians during the time of the Kosovo war have left the INTERPOL search.
Among these 18 people has been Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who was arrested in December last year under an international arrest warrant issued by Serbia at Mulhouse, France.
Sources within the Kosovo Police have told Gazeta Online Insander that today he has withdrawn from INTERPOL's list of Prime Minister Haradinaj.
While the agreement between the two governments in Albania was under way, Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj and Kosovo Police Director Shpend Manjuni stayed on a visit to Lyon, France.
Though there is no known what was discussed, shortly after their arrival in Kosovo, 18 people who were looking internationally from Serbia left the list.
Even several months after Haradinaj's ban in France, Kosovo Police had asked INTERPOL for removal from the list of fugitives, for Kosovars having international arrest warrants issued by Serbia.
