The online music platform on Tuesday has said that Ed Sheeran had 6.3 billion broadcasts in 2017.
He also had the most successful album of the year, “Dividue” with 3.1 billion transmissions and top-scans “Shape of You” with 1.4 billion transmissions.
“Spotificing” says there was an increase in hip-hop zing for 74 percent last year, while Latin music jumped 110 percent.
