The Institute for Research and Analysis, through a questionnaire with seven main urban centres, has investigated the work of the Kosovo Government 100 days.
Based on this research, the Haradinaj government has had a major problem with the demarcation issue for Kosovo border demarcation, Montenegro, do not liberalise visas and energy crises.
The main findings of this research have been addressed by Arian Yanova, the project's co-ordinator at the Institute for Research and Analysis, under which, through a questionnaire of 900 residents from the seven main Kosovo centres, 69 per cent have no knowledge of the governing plan.
“Which are the main areas that Haradinaj” government is dealing with? 32 per cent of citizens think it is European integration, 23 per cent is infrastructure, 19 per cent is health, 8 per cent unemployment, education and other areas. What are the main problems faced by the Haradinaj government? 58 per cent of citizens think the Haradinaj government is the main problem during its 100-day mandate and has had demarcation, 30 per cent think the problem has had visa liberalisation, 7 per cent for the energy crisis, and 5 per cent are other topics”, Yanova said.
While, as the achievement of this government for 100 days, it is considered expropriation in Shiptule and Hades and the New Kosovo project.
Also, according to Janova, it is considered the health and stimulus of local products being made by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
“Our citizens have responded that 32 per cent think it's energy, as far as expropriation is concerned, 17 per cent think it's the incentive of local products made by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, then 10 per cent think it's education, economic development and other”, Janova stressed.
In this publication, Janova has said that one of the failures is also the issue of unemployment, which, according to him, has not had the results from the prime minister for easing unemployment.
“In the fifth question of what three biggest failures of Haradinaj Government, citizens think are large expenditures, the large number of ministers, deputy prime ministers, deputy ministers for expenditures that are directly taxing citizens and spending on this government cabinet, 27 per cent think of government spending, 28 per cent think is failing to realise visa liberalisation, because Prime Minister Haradinaj had promised that within his 100 days the government would make visa liberalisation. Then 25 per cent of citizens think it is unemployment that has not seen Haradinaj's moves in terms of easing unemployment”, he has said.
The institute has also compared the 100 days of the Haradinaj government to the government Mustafa”. Janova has said the problem for the Haradinaj government “remains the small number of MPs in the ruling coalition, compared to “Governance Mustafa”, which had 2/3 of the MPs.
Another problem, based on research, according to Janova, remains the increase in government spending on luxury spending, which citizens say “the Haradinaj government is already increasing these costs, while the “government Mustafa” had made some decisions to prevent those expenses.
