1. Betrayal today means much more than before

Betrayal occurs when another relationship becomes very intense and without the act of sex itself. To love is to blame for our imagination, not any other person, says Esther Perel, broadcasting Telegragraphy.

2. Betrayal technology makes it easier than ever before

You can practically cheat your partner even when you're lying next to him in bed. It is never said to touch that person, or kiss that you imagine can have the same power as real physical contact.

3. The need for security and the need for excitement is not balanced

Perel says that each person has two basic needs: the need for support and stability and the need for adventure and mystery.

The greatest indicator of stability and security is routine, which may soon turn into habit and force a mate to look for satisfaction in another person.

4. Those who betray want to change themselves, not their partners

Betrayal is not because they seek someone else but because they seek a new version of themselves. In many cases, the person who betrays does not want to separate himself from his partner but who has left behind the one who himself has been hypocritical.

5. They Want to Feel They Are Still Alive

The excitement because of the idea that the partner will not discover betrayal, the person who cheats makes him more careful, more attentive, and more engaged, while that feeling may be irresistible.

Perel points out that it's very important that that sense of discernment exists in couples' relationships, and not just in the bedroom.
