The languages added by Google include Scotland's galaxy, Kurdish language, as well as Yosa, union, luxury, French, Hawaiian, Shona, Samoan, Amharic, Miscian and Kyrgyz. If you want to talk to a person from these places, Google will now cover you.
Google Translate was launched for the first time in 2006, using an early form of computer translation based on vocabulary, grammar guides, and other sources.
At first this service covered only a few languages, both English and English and English-Russian. In the summer of 2009, the service expanded to 51 languages. So far more than 3 million people in the Translation Community have helped to correct and improve the Google translation machine by translating more than 200 million words.
