Facebook warns: Put your picture in, or we'll close your accounts.

Facebook requires its users to load a clear picture of their faces because it otherwise warns the account to close.

This is because of the security and verification of the Facebook account. The new system requires users to upload a photograph of themselves that clearly shows their faces, to prove that they are actually behind their address and thus avoid false addresses.

The photo test aims to help Facebook “capture suspicious activity at various points of interaction in the country”.
