Caffein is a natural stimulant that accelerates respiratory work, metabolicism, and increases adrenaline levels in the body.
Some of the best sources of caffeine, except for coffee, are green tea and cocoa.
Although previous studies have found that pre- exercise coffee can increase the effectiveness of exercise, this is the first study that has come to the conclusion that coffee can cause even faster calories, even three hours after exercise.
Scientists from Spain have conducted the study, which featured 12 males who had practiced every day for 30 minutes to one hour. Scientists divided them into groups. One group had taken placebo and the other caffeine.

Researchers then measured heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rate during and after exercises.
The measurement results showed that the best dose of caffeine you can consume before exercise is 4.5 milligrams per kilogram of body weight - this is approximately a cup of medium - size coffee.
Scientists have also found that coffee had increased calories to 15 percent. Participants who received caffeine prior to their exercise had burned more calories even in a break for three hours after exercise.
So if you have noticed that the exercise is not producing the desired results so quickly, scientists suggest that you try to drink coffee, green tea, or cocoa about an hour before exercise.
