A company has made public calls for free jobs like designer engineering engineers, designers and workers for mechanical work in carpenters, in control of product quality or other positions. But right now there's no answer.
“La Repubblica” reports that the company “Antonio Carraro” specialising in building tractors for specialized agriculture in Italy's Padova area is failing for several months to complete the six-month opening hot spots.
“We are one of the three Venato companies with higher average wages. The minimum we offer is 1590 euros. We made high-level technological investments that cost 10m euros. We're following a digital factory model where everything is connected and workers are no longer needed for the assembly chain as it once was, but employees are needed who are able to use and manage this process. The technician no longer needs to get his hands dirty because he's not in the machine's service, but there's a machine in his service” says Liliana Carraro, responsible for his external relations with the company, which since 1907 produces tractors.
The company itself thinks the reason is more cultural. “Maybe young people are demoralized have a wrong idea of what it means to work at a mechanical metal company. There's probably no connection between industry and university. The academic world is not linked to the speed of innovation in the production world. But did you know that 30% of the unemployed are those who are excluded from technology?
However, the company is making a new effort by inviting those who want to work at this company to get close to it on December 16, 2017 and to get acquainted with the work process, reports the SCAN portal.
