The head of the list, according to the American Film Institute continues to keep the film of 1947 occupied, “A wonderful life”, the realisation of director Frank Capra, who narrates the story of George Bailey, a generous man who ends up in bankruptcy.
When George, played by James Stewart, gets bored of life and wishes he hadn't been born, there's an angel in front of him, Clara.
The angel fulfills his desire, showing him how events would have turned out as if he had never been born.
George realizes how gloomy the existence of him without him, for his loved ones, he feels the cost of life and decides to return to his family.
Friends and loved ones gather to help him out and out of bankruptcy. For his role, Clarkes finally gets the angel's arms.
